An Easy Way To Help Stop Asian Hate

A good and fair place to start to stop Asian hate in America is to end affirmative action at our institutions, and most notably at our colleges and universities.

In many of our current affirmative action systems, especially at colleges and universities, folk are hired and/or accepted based on loose race quotas. Meaning at many colleges and universities, certain loose percentages of the student body should be certain races by their policy. This is done to promote what they call “diversity”. However, it is an open secret that this is disadvantageous to Asian applicants. As what it means is that Asians don’t truly compete for spots against the entire population of applicants, but instead, effectively, Asians compete for spots against other Asians. This makes these affirmative action programs obviously “separate but equal” programs. We have the technology now to make many application processes blind to race, so why wouldn’t we.

It is a known fact that if many prestigious institutions, especially well-known colleges, and universities, were to make their application process blind to race, Asians would then flood the populations of these institutions. This is because Asian applicants are usually among the brightest and most talented applicants.

There is no easier way to stop Asian hate than to simply flood institutions with Asians. If the presence of Asians in power and influence in prominent institutions is increased, then Asian hate would lessen in relation. And the fact that increasing the Asian presence at most institutions can be achieved as easily as making our systems into greater meritocracies, makes it all the more right.

Folk are folk, and I want the brightest minds in the best positions, as that is what is best for humanity. Positions of power that rely on intellect should be blind to race in their selection of candidates. End affirmative action, make application processes blind to race, and you will help end Asian hate, as respect toward Asians will rise in relation. I promise you. It’s so simple.
