I like the word ‘Illusion’ because it wakes people up. People need to realize that the map is ultimately an illusion that is possibly best described as an approximation by those who draw maps with sincerity.

And by my reader holding onto the reality that the map is ultimately an illusion, I am hoping to inspire my reader to more easily invent or adopt a better map.

I suppose once we all acknowledge that it is an illusion, then we can talk in terms of how the illusion works and then a term like ‘analog’ could and should be weighed to describe the process.

But I feel the purpose of my essay is to wake my reader up to how malleable what they believe reality is, is. And that a tool they can use to change their reality is simply words.

I firmly believe that if a person changes their reactions, that will automatically change their circumstances. My hope is that my essay inspires enlightenment that makes truly changing one’s reactions to change one’s circumstances easier.

Thank you for your clap and your commentary. And again, I don’t necessarily disagree with you, analog (I’m guessing you mean to imply that things manifesting from word recognition mean that words are signal points to our consciousness) may be the best word to describe the process.

Thank you for helping me to weigh that idea. All the best.
