You Are

Joe Camerota

A lot of theists ask the question, “Why is there something instead of nothing?”

I’m not an atheist. I believe in God. But that question is stupid. Because you asking the question is something. The act of asking a question is an example of something.

So when you ask, “Why is there something instead of nothing?” The answer is obviously that YOU are the reason. Because YOU’RE the one asking the question.

Who is the god who makes the grass green? You are. You are the god who says the grass is green. The grass is never green until you say so.

There is a bigger God that created the nothing that you make the something out of. But the reason that there is something instead of nothing. Well, that’s all YOU.
