Your Thinker Was Your First Thought

So, everyone has thoughts. And they have a thinker that thinks about the thoughts. That is the binary relationship that creates consciousness. We have a thinker that thinks about the thoughts. We call this thinker our ego. It is what makes us substantially different from the rest of the animals. We know that dolphins, dogs, etc, think about thoughts and perform creatively. But not to the level that humans do.

So we have a thinker that thinks about the thoughts. We call this our “I”. Now here is the thing. Thoughts just come. Thoughts come from seemingly nowhere. And the thinker then thinks about the thoughts and decides what is to keep and what is to disregard. But the important thing to realize is that thoughts presuppose the thinker. Thoughts come about seemly out of nowhere, and then the thinker thinks about them.

What this means is that because thought presupposes the thinker, the thinker is just a thought.

The thinker is just an illusion. It is the first conceptualized thought. The thought that makes all the other thoughts possible. This illusion creates the doorway to the rest of the Maya (illusion).
